In 2007, when about 25 of St. Maria Goretti ex-students convened in Atlanta for a reunion, I never thought I would not only be so involved with this organization but also be presiding. It has been a long journey but it has also been a fulfilling one.
The sisterhood is alive and well and we have generated so much noise regarding the current state of the school. So what resonated with my spirit? The plight of the young women that are currently in the school fighting against all odds to be educated. I have been a part of the scholarship committee since 2013 and have read numerous essays and personal stories that have moved me to tears. I thank God every day for the blessings he has shown me. I do not take this position lightly as this is definitely God’s work. This is bigger than I am.!!!

GOGINT.ORG is growing as we can see from our reunion in Canada 2017 and Manchester reunion 2019. We do not want to lose our vision so I call upon you all to read the by-laws, to understand the vision and mission of this organization.
GOGI needs sisters that resonate with our cause, to give selflessly to our sisterhood and help plant seeds in the lives of young women. We have been tremendously blessed so we can bless others.
GOGI has given scholarship awards every year to 22-25 candidates; we have participated in individual class projects building, buying chairs and tables, beautification of school.
GOGI has purchased computers and library books, school and hygiene supplies.
We still have a lot to do, I call upon all our ex-students in the diaspora to join hands with us and help us raise educated women and change destinies.
I look forward to seeing you all at the next bi-annual reunion in San Diego 2021

Thank you for visiting our site!

Very truly yours,
Lillian Asoera
